Updated Important Dates

Please review all important dates below, if you have questions about when your child is rehearsing please contact the office or email us at staff@interplay-dance.ca.   There are still tickets left for all shows except for Sunday May 4, 11:30 a.m.  This show is sold out.  If you do not have tickets still for this show, please email as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT UPCOMING DATES 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All recreational classes will be running the week of rehearsals with the exception of Thursday May 1.  All teachers will be at our first show in the theatre that day.  All intensive 2 classes will only run on Monday April 28.  All other intensive classes are cancelled as we will be in the theater on the show week.  Classes will continue after the shows until Friday May 16.  After this date, only IDC and the enhanced classes will continue until the last week of May.

 ‘Ultimate Dance Competition’ 

Faire Fecan Theatre, York University,

Toronto for Interplay Competitive Division.

All classes are running as regularly scheduled for all students not involved in the competition.  IDC rehearsal for Company D and any members who are not involved in the Competition from 11:30-1:30pm.

*ALL COSTUMES AND ACCESSORIES ARE MANDATORY FOR BETTY OLIPHANT THEATRE REHEARSALS FROM SUNDAY APRIL 27 TO TUESDAY APRIL 29. HAIR MUST BE IN A BUN FOR DANCERS WHO ARE IN MULTIPLE PIECES. NO MAKEUP PLEASE.

10:30-11:30 a.m - Bretonie – . - Classes: All Wed hip hop classes (4p.m./5p.m.) 
Mackenzie  – Thursday Lyrical 6:00-7:00 class

 11:30-12:30Faye – – Classes: All Mon Jazz (7:15pm) and lyrical (8:15pm) 

Ruby – 1:30-2:30 – Thursday acro 3 (4:15pm) class

Victoria – 2:30-3:00 – Monday RAD 3-4 – (7:15pm)

Shannon – 3:00-3:30 – Monday RAD 5/6 

Aleesha – 3:30-4:00 – Monday Jazz 3-4, Lyrical 3-4

Lucie 4:15-4:45 – Saturday Musical Theatre – 10-11 a.m. class

Monday April 28

Rehearsals at The Betty Oliphant Theatre, Canada’s National Ballet School. Intensive levels 3-8 (Contemporary, acro, jazz & lyrical). *6:30-8:30 p.m. , IDC members and comp team 6:30-10:00 

                                                    Ruby - Classes -  Acro 3 - 5:15 p.m, Acro 4 - 6:15 p.m.

Tuesday April 29

 Rehearsals at The Betty Oliphant Theatre, Canada’s National Ballet School.  Intensive levels 1-2 (ballet, Jazz, modern, acro), 7-8:30 p.m., and Intensive levels 3-8 Ballet ‘Etudes’only, 6:30-10 p.m.
Ruby's Acro 2 - 7:15 p.m.

Wednesday April 30

 REST DAY for Intensive students only. All other classes running as scheduled.

Thursday May 1

 Show A  8pm  (IDC arrive 6:30/all other dancers arrive 7pm) 

 Intensive levels 3-8 ballet ‘Etude’,

Intensive level 4-8 Jazz, lyrical, Contemporary, Acro

 IDC & Competitive Divisions
Intensive 3 students may leave after Etude, approximately 9 p.m.

Friday May 2 

 Show B  8pm (IDC arrive 6:30/ all other dancers arrive 7pm)

RAD 3/4, 5/6, and senior recreational level classes of all dance forms.

Saturday May 3

Show C  6pm 

 (IDC arrive 4pm, Intensive levels 3-8 arrive 4:30, Int 1/2 arrive 5pm).

Wednesday May 7

Auditions for the Enhanced Program,  Intensive Program, 
Interplay Dance Company and Competitive Divisions.

The times are as follows:

Present Intensive level 1-2  5:00-5:45pm

Present Intensive level 3-4   6:00-6:45pm

Present Intensive level 5-6 (Enhanced 1 Gr7-9) 7:00-8:00pm

Present Intensive level 7-8 (Enhanced 2 Gr10-12) 8:15-9:45pm

*Please arrive 15min before your audition time.

Saturday May 10

Photo Day

Start time 9:30am

 *Detailed schedule to follow. Please let office know if you are interested in participating.
  IDC members are to be present for all group shots.

 It is mandatory for all IDC members.

The last day of regular classes is Friday May 16^th.  A make-up class schedule for Mondays and the snow days will be sent at a later date.
